Are You An Honest Internet Marketer?

Would you consider yourself an honest Internet marketer?  And would you be willing to let your spouse, children, and other family take a look at exactly what you’re doing online?

Every marketer that I know, including myself, would probably say Yes.

However, there are some marketers out there that dupe people on a daily basis.  And I’m guessing that 9 out of 10 of these guys know that they are doing it.

This morning, I was researching a few clickbank products. And while I was looking through the front page results for this top selling Clickbank product called Flight Sim Pro… I found this video:

If you watch it, you’ll hear a guy who is exposing a recurring theme in Internet marketing – affiliate marketers not telling the whole story in their promotions.  Hardly ever do you see actual honest reviews coming out in Internet marketing.  This guy is basically saying that there is a free version of this product and it is a “scam” for the company to sell it.

That may or may not be true.  After all, the Flight Sim people seem to have improved the free open source engine a bit and are likely selling it legally.

But the reason I’m showing you this is for few reasons…

Being honest and transparent in affiliate marketing is VERY rare.  That might surprise you, but it’s true.  Most marketers have tunnel vision with products they promote and will not tell visitors about alternatives, faults, etc…

Do you see the opportunity here?

Instead of getting mad about the not so honest marketers out there, you should be jumping with joy at what I’ve just told you.  Imagine what would happen if you walked into just about any market on the Internet and were 100% truthful/honest/transparent with the products you promoted.  You would stand out and the audience would love you.

Think about this…

  • What if all of your videos, blog posts, and other content on the web was 100% honest and trustworthy?
  • Would people be more likely to buy from you?
  • Would you feel better about your business knowing that what you are promoting is actually worth buying?
  • How much leverage would you have over your competition who are all just saying the same thing about the products?

Take this advice to heart!  Become an honest marketer and your audience will love you for it.  You will crush your competition who are all claiming every product is a gift from God.

Easy Profit Bot Full Review

will be posted soon…

Believe it or not, a lot of people actually make money on the Internet. One of the most common ways to do this is with affiliate marketing. When I start explaining this to people, I usually lose them right there. Their eyes gloss over and they get that deer in the head lights look. So even though you have the back seat driver feeling right now while you are read this, please get motivated.

Affiliate marketing is such a big industry and many marketers under-estimate how much money they can make. But right as you are reading this article, there are people making thousands of dollars PER DAY, every day. All they are doing is a basic concept in business. Telling people about a product and getting a commission for that referral – that is how affiliate marketing works.

It’s all about finding the right product, the right audience, and figuring out a way to get that product in front of that audience. You might be thinking of the whole “right time and place” think in business and you’re right.

But where do you start and how do you get into this business? Well, that’s both a simple and a complex question. First of all, I’d recommend that you take a look at the products that I talk about on my blog – after all, you’re here already. If you don’t see a product that interests you, then whatever you do – don’t wait around for one. A good product can set you ahead of the pack because it should be a working method to make money on the Internet. However, you don’t need one.

I go my start on the Internet by using a few methods that I had to invest money in to learn. There are still people who do it without a guide. But most people don’t. The Internet is such a complex place and it can get confusing enough to make you want to stop. I know how it is because I used to feel like that.

But back on track! – After you figure out what method you are going to use, your next step is to pick a product and a way of getting it in front of your audience. There are thousands of products and I can’t really recommend a catch all product for you. The best way to tell if a product is good is to see if people are buying it and giving it good reviews. Due to the social nature of the Internet, you can usually find reviews for just about anything.

And after that, find a way to get it in front of your audience. Search engines like Google are a pretty good way to do this. In fact, Easy Profit Bot helps you get that much needed traffic from your audience.

Wrapping this up, I think that I’ve given you everything you need to get started. Whatever you do, don’t quit. You always learn something from failing, but you’ll never learn a thing from calling it quits.

Dude, Did You Get Paid?

The more products I promote, the more of a pain it is to get paid.  So many merchants are starting to use their own payment systems and stray away from Clickbank.  One common affiliate management center is Infusionsoft.

For some reason, big name marketers are usually horrible at paying affiliates on time.  Which is why I am here to give you some advice today…

Before you spend your time and money to promote a product, make sure that you are going to get paid (and on time).  Paying your affiliates for referring sales to you is completing the promise that you made with them initially.  Not paying them is criminal.  But for some reason, many marketers don’t take it seriously.  They draw it out, don’t reply to emails, and basically ignore their loyal affiliates.

If you cannot get your full payment and you’ve exhausted all possible avenues of resolving the issue, then maybe it’s time for legal action.  Internet marketing is a business just like any other business.  If you don’t fulfill your promises and forget/refuse to pay as promised, then let the legal system sort it out.

Perhaps after enough marketers are slapped by the hand of the law, then they will start taking affiliates seriously.  Until the, you’ve just to be careful with WHO and WHAT you promote.

Luckily for you (not so much for the fraudsters), with the social sites on the Internet today, you can easily share your experiences about fraudulent authors/merchants/vendors.

Instant Local Domination Review

Today I got an email for the hundredth time from Jeremy Kelsall and Don – the guys that most of us know as “Don and Jeremy”.  Needless to say, I have been getting pretty annoyed with the constant promotions that Don and Jeremy send out.  I could swear that once if not twice a day they are pushing their own products or someone else’s products.  This might work for just some general email list, but I am a previous buyer for one of their products.

That out of the way, let’s take a closer look at this thing called Instant Local Domination from these guys…

The plugin itself is a WordPress plugin that you install just like any other plugin.  When you install it, it comes up as “Local Pages Ninja”.  When they are installing it a few other plugins to:

  • All in one SEO
  • Google XML Sitemaps
  • Yet Another Related Posts Plugin

What does the Instant Local Domination plugin do?

The plugin basically creates “optimized” posts and pages on your WordPress blog.  These posts are laced with your keywords and are based around cities that you choose.  The example that they use in their video is a site built around Dentist keywords in a number of cities.

Is it “instant” (Product Title) – Simple Answer: No.  Like I said, the plugin creates a site that is based around keywords in a local niche.  It does look like it creates these pages “instantly”, but ranking them is another story.  I’m sure that a good number of the local keywords that you will target will be non-competitive, but in SEO, nothing is instant.

The sites that are being used as examples for this plugin are bordering on autoblogs – a bunch of pages with the same text but laced with different city names.  This is definitely something to consider if you’re wanting to stay away from sites that Google could potentially slap.

My thoughts on Don and Jeremy

My biggest concern with Don and Jeremy is support.  The previous products I’ve bought from them were “ok”, but support was really lacking.  For example, they setup a few SEO case studies where people would give them money and be able to follow along.  After a month or so, I never heard another word from these guys.  I’ve checked the rankings for the sites they setup and they rank in the 100-200 range for their target keywords.

I have sent Don and Jeremy numerous emails.  At first they were pretty good with answering questions, but now it is near impossible to get in touch with these guys.

Also, consider this…

I know I touched on this already, but take it for what it is worth.  Don and Jeremy are almost on my spam/junk filter for Internet marketing emails – the ones that get auto-archived and NEVER read!  They send out a bunch of emails now and I haven’t seen anything useful from them (that doesn’t cost more money) in awhile.

The plugin is being sold through the Warrior Forum right now – here is the sales thread
